During this workshop you will learn about the many options available at the City University of New York (CUNY) for those who are thinking about going to college for the first time or returning to college after an extended absence. You will also be given the opportunity personal thoughts, issues or concerns that maybe blocking your from actualizing your goal.Workshop facilitator, Madlyn Stokely, LMSW recently retired from Hunter College, CUNY. During Madlyn’s 35 years tenure at Hunter her primary focus was to increase students’ access to services and education. At the time of her retirement in July 2017 Madlyn held the position of Assistant Vice President/ Associate Dean of Student’s. Registration is required and the session will take place at Bottomless Closet’s office. ELECTIVE
